Upload a File

- Go to the Vault icon in the top left panel.
- Click the My files section on the left panel.
- Click the Upload button in the top center panel.
- Select Files.
- In the new window, locate the local files to upload.
- Click Open.
- In the prompt, click Upload.
- Go to the Vault icon in the top left panel.
- Click the File Transfer Hub button in the top left panel.
- Select Transfer.
- In the new window, select the files from the local access directory in the right panel.
- Drag and drop the files into the Vault in the left panel.
- Click Exit.
You cannot upload files or directories from your local machine into your Vault's trash.
You can exit the file transfer window while uploading large files into your Vault.
Upload a Directory

- Go to the Vault icon in the top left panel.
- Click the My files section on the left panel.
- Click the Upload button in the top center panel.
- Select Directories.
- In the new window, locate the local directory to upload.
- Click Upload.
- In the new pop-up, click Upload to confirm.
- In the prompt, preview the directory structure.
- Click Upload.
- Go to the Vault icon in the top left panel.
- Click the File Transfer Hub button in the top left panel.
- Select Transfer.
- In the new window, select the directory from the local access directory in the right panel.
- Drag and drop the directory into the Vault in the left panel.
- Click Exit.
Allow multiple uploads in your browser if you perform this action frequently.
Upload a File from the Cloud
You cannot upload files from the cloud, but you can transfer files from the cloud.

Preserve Directory Structure When Uploading
The tiCrypt upload function preserves the local directory structure by default.
Set up the directory structure before the upload.
Set Permissions for Files and Directories Upload
- Log in to your admin account.
- Go to the Management icon in the top left panel.
- Select the Users section.
- Select Users.
- Find and select the user you wish to delegate upload permissions to.
- Click the Open Full Menu three-dot button in the top right panel.
- Select Open Overlay.
- In the overlay, select Profile & Permissions card in the left panel.
- Go to the Basic Vault Interaction section.
- Check Upload content to own files.
- Click Save in the top right panel.
By default, all users have upload access. Only experienced users should modify upload permissions for specific delegation scenarios.
