Logout & Exit

Permission Requirements

  • None.

Access Your Logout Menu​

  1. Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
  2. Select the Log Out option.

Logout from Your Account​

  1. Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
  2. Select the Log Out option.
  3. In the pop-up, click the Log out button on the right.

Closing the tiCrypt Connect Application window will also log you out of the active session.

Cancel Logout from Your Account​

  1. Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
  2. Select the Log Out option.
  3. In the pop-up, click the Cancel log out button on the left.

Your logout window is active for 60 seconds before you are automatically logged out of the system.

Exit the tiCrypt Deployment​

  1. Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
  2. Select the Exit tiCrypt Edge option.

Download Debug Logs​

  1. Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
  2. Select the Download Debug Logs option.
  3. In the new window, select the local directory to download the debug logs.
  4. Click Save.

Manually Purge Your Key from Memory​

  1. Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
  2. Select the Time until key is purged from memory option.

Purging your key from memory is a security measure to refresh your keys. The key is automatically purged when the timer reaches zero.

Manually Reset Time Until Your Session Is Locked​

  1. Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
  2. Select the Time until the session is locked option.

Resetting the session lock timer extends your re-login window during inactivity. This is rarely needed, as the timer resets automatically during normal activity.

Return to Deployment Selection From Login Page​

  1. Go to the tiCrypt login page.
  2. Click the Return to Connect button in the top left corner.

Only use this option when your institution has two or more deployments in use.
