Welcome to tiCrypt training. These modules walk you through everything you need to get started, from installing the Connect Application to managing encrypted files and virtual machines.
Account Types in tiCrypt
tiCrypt uses distinct account types. Identify yours before starting:

If you received instructions from your administrator to create a tiCrypt account, follow the For Users track below.
For Users
Researchers, analysts, and anyone who works inside a tiCrypt secure enclave. Complete these modules in order.

| Step 1: Install the Connect Application | Download and install the Connect Application on macOS, Windows, or Linux |
| Step 2: Create Your Account | Register your user account, set your password, and securely save your private key |
| Step 3: Log In | Load your private key, authenticate with MFA, and manage your credentials |
| Step 4: Navigate the Interface | Tour the main sections of tiCrypt: Vault, Virtual Machines, User Menu, and Notifications |
| Step 5: Working with the Vault | Upload, download, share, and organize encrypted files within your projects |
| Step 6: Working with Virtual Machines | Create a VM configuration, start and connect to a VM, transfer files, and manage drives |
For Admins
Admins and super-admins who manage the tiCrypt deployment, activate users, and configure teams, projects, and system settings.
Complete the For Users track first. The modules below cover additional responsibilities for administrative roles.

For Site-Key Admin
The site-key administrator creates and manages escrow groups and signs escrow certificates. Each deployment has one site-key admin.

For Escrow Users
Escrow users participate in key recovery by holding fragments of user private keys. They are organized into escrow groups managed by the site-key admin.
