What is the relationship between user profiles and project security levels?

Premeditation​

Suppose you have a project where each user who reaches a certain security level inherits new permissions to the project.

It would be unproductive to set permissions manually for each user whenever they reach a certain security level.

Principle​

Simply applying a user profile to a user who reached a certain security level will eliminate the human error of checking permissions boxes.

Practice​

To apply user profile to a project navigate to the tab in the Users section.

  • Bulk select the users in the current project to which you would like to apply the profile.

  • Click the Apply profile button in the top right.

  • Follow the instructions from the apply user profile section.
