How do I set up enforced compliance goals for my projects?
Compliance goals
are crucial for safeguarding reputation,
enforcing security for sensitive information, and building trust with government agencies.
To set up enforced goals in your project, you can use security requirements
.
1. Create a Security level
To create a security level navigate to the tab in the Security Levels
section.
- Click the
Create new security level
button in the top right. - Follow the instructions from the create a new security level section.
2. Create a set of Requirements (compliance goals) for your project
To create a new security requirement navigate to the tab in the Security Requirements
section.
- Click the
Create new security requirement
button in the top right. - Follow the instructions from the create a new security requirement section.
3. Create the Project and Add the appropriate Security levels to it
To create a new project navigate to the tab in the Projects
section.
- Click the button in the top right.
- Follow the instructions from the create a new project via projects section.
4. Certify Compliant Users
To grant a user certification for a security requirement navigate to the tab in the Security Requirements
section.
- Select the security requirement you want to certify the user.
- Click the
Certify user(s)
button in the top right. - Follow the instructions from the certify users with security requirement section.
Now you have a project where users must comply with the security requirements
to operate that project.
Once a user achieves the specified compliance goal, they can access the project.
You can customize user access
in your projects.
- For example, you can filter the users who achieved
compliance goal A
and give them access to view the project resources; Then, for the users who achievedcompliance goal B
, you can allow them to download the project resources and work on them separately.
