What are Devices?

Devices are used for GPU management.

You can attach multiple drives to devices and group multiple GPUs with different properties to achieve specific computational goals.

You can attach drives to a virtual machine while it is running, but you cannot attach GPUs to a running virtual machine.

The Devices section works together with the VM Hardware Setups section to create the optimal VM landscape for maximum computational efficiency.

Each Hardware Setup can have a limited number of GPUs attached to it. The Devices section manages how GPUs behave when grouped together in a VM Hardware Setup.

The more GPUs you have, the more processing power is available per setup.
