Create Drive
Access
The create encrypted drive modal can be accessed by selecting the icon located in virtual machine panel under the drives tab located on the left.
Purpose
The modal allows for users to create encrypted drives which will be mounted to virtual machines.
After a drive has been created it will appear in the drives tab in the Virtual Machines panel.
Adding New Drive
Click the located in virtual machine panel under the drives tab located on the left.
Enter the drive name. This will be used by the user to identify the drive when mounting it to a virtual machine.
Select the drive type. User **Linux/Ext4** if you plan to attach it to a *Linux* VM or **Windows/NTFS** for a Windows VM
Enter a size of the drive. We advise creating a encrypted drive larger than 3 GB.
If applicable select to assign the drive to a project tag. Remember resources tagged by a project label inherit all the security requirements associated with the project.
If applicable select to assign the drive to a team.
After completing the previous steps click the button in the lower right corner to complete creating a new encrypted drive.
