How should I manage user policy risks with tiCrypt?
It is difficult to "police" users about compliance in an institutional environment. Generally, there are fewer to no options to enforce policies before a cyber attack occurs.
The alternative is to add anything that seems like secure data into tiCrypt.
- Non-secured projects are added into tiCrypt just in case they would contain any sensitive line that would make them classified.
 - tiCrypt has a mechanism designed to enforce compliance.
 - Researchers prefer stocking data into tiCrypt over other non-secured data storage.
 - tiCrypt Vault and VMs act as a single solution to multiple problems.

1. Add data into the Vault
To add non-secured data into tiCrypt, navigate to the tab then select the My Files section on the top left panel.
- Click the
Uploadbutton in the top right panel. - Select either the
FilesorDirectoriesoption. - Follow the instructions from upload a file section.
 - Optionally, follow the instructions from the drag-and-drop uploading section.

2. Move data from the Vault to the VM
info
- To start working with the data from your Vault, you must move it into a virtual machine.
 - A user can transfer files from their Vault into the VM. Transferring makes a copy, meaning that the original will remain in the Vault.

To transfer non-secured data from Vault to VM, navigate to the tab, in the Virtual Machines section.
- Select the connected VM you want to transfer to/from.
 - Click the
Transfer files to/from Vaultbutton in the center-right. - Follow the instructions from transfer from the Vault to VM section.
