Libvirt Volumes

Prerequisites
  • Access Level: Admin, Super-admin.
  • . Basic VM Interaction
    • View drives (inconsistent, see notes)
    • View hardware/image setups made available to them
    • View own VM configs and configs shared with them
    • View own VM username
    • View anyone's VM username (necessary for sharing VMs)
    • View own VMs and VMs shared with thems
    • View storage pools for any Libvirt realm
  • . VM Administration
    • View raw Libvirt volumes (images)
    • View all VM images
    • View all VM configs in the system
    • View host machines and hardware information in any Libvirt realm
    • Arbitrarily view logs from any VM

View the Capacity, Allocation, and Realm of Libvirt Volumes

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
  3. Click the Libvirt Volumes in the left panel.
  4. View the realm, pool, volume, capacity and allocation in the list.

Refresh Libvirt Volumes Data

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
  3. Click the Libvirt Volumes in the left panel.
  4. Click the Refresh button in the top right panel.

Export Libvirt Volumes Data in CSV Format

bulk-action

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
  3. Click the Libvirt Volumes in the left panel.
  4. Select the Libvirt volumes to export in CSV format.
  5. Click the Export CSV button in the top right panel.
  6. Select Selected items.
  7. In the local window, click Save.

View Libvirt Volumes Data in JSON Format For Export

bulk-action

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
  3. Click the Libvirt Volumes in the left panel.
  4. Select the Libvirt volumes you want to export in JSON format.
  5. Click the Export JSON button in the top right panel.
  6. Select View selected items.
  7. In the pop-up, click Expand all fields button in the top left panel.
  8. View the selected Libvirt volumes by id, realmName, pool, volume, capacity, and allocation.
  9. Once done, click Copy to copy the JSON data or click Download to download the JSON data.
  10. In the local window, click Save.
  11. Once done, click Close.

Export Libvirt Volumes Data in JSON Format

bulk-action

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
  3. Click the Libvirt Volumes in the left panel.
  4. Select the Libvirt volumes you want to export in JSON format.
  5. Click the Export JSON button in the top right panel.
  6. Select Export selected items.
  7. In the local window, click Save.

Click View selected items before exporting to view the Libvirt volumes data as a table in JSON format.
