Overview of Your Profile
My Profile section enables you to take ownership and practice self-management. It encapsulates the various actions you can perform based on your assigned permissions. In this section, you can view and manage all information related to your account.
Access Your Profile Overview
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, under Properties, click Overview.
- View your user name, email, state, profile, certifications, teams, projects, VM configurations, running VMs and drives.
Access Your User State
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click State in the left panel.
Change Your User State
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click State in the left panel.
- Select Active and escrow on next login, Active or Inactive.
- Click the Save button above.
You must provide a deactivation reason when you select the Inactive option.
Access Your User Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click Profile in the left panel.
Change Your User Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click Profile in the left panel.
- Select the appropriate custom profile.
- Click the Save button above.
Custom profiles are created by admins and super-admins to fit hybrid user roles into the system.
Access Your Profile Certifications
This is where one can relay restrictions as needed of a special assessment to permit access to, say, a particular project. This modal iterates all the user's certifications and allows one to manage their validity in tiCrypt here.
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click Certifications in the left panel.
Certify Yourself for a Project from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click Certifications in the left panel.
- Click the Add a Certificate button in the top panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the requirement, expiration date and attempt to update certification.
- Click Certify.
Only admins and super-admins can certify themselves for a project if they own the project or are members of it.
Edit or Renew Your User Certification from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click Certifications in the left panel.
- Select the certification you want to edit or renew.
- Click the Edit/Renew button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, edit or renew the expiration date.
- Click Save.
Mark Your User Certification as Expired from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click Certifications in the left panel.
- Select the certification you want to mark as expired.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Mark as expired.
- In the pop-up, click Mark as expired.
Bulk Email Users with Similar User Certifications from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click Certifications in the left panel.
- Select the similar certifications for users you want to send a bulk email to.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Bulk Email.
- In the pop-up, click Copy to copy the emails or click Download to download the emails.
- Once done, click Close.
Delete Your User Certification from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Properties.
- Click Certifications in the left panel.
- Select the certification you want to delete.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Click the Delete button.
- In the prompt, click Revoke.
Access Your Teams from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Teams in the left panel.
Add Yourself to a Team from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Teams in the left panel.
- Click the Add to team(s) button in the top panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the team name you want to add yourself to.
- Click Save.
Bulk Email Team Members from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Teams in the left panel.
- Select the users team you want to send a bulk email to.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Bulk Email.
- In the pop-up, click Copy to copy the emails or click Download to download the emails.
- Once done, click Close.
Remove Yourself from a Team from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Teams in the left panel.
- Select the team(s) you want to remove yourself from.
- Click the Delete button in the top panel.
- In the prompt, click Delete Membership.
Access Your Projects from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Projects in the left panel.
Add Yourself to a Project from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Projects in the left panel.
- Click the Add to project(s) button in the top panel.
- In the pop-up, search and select the project you want to add yourself to.
- Enter your membership expiration date, role and restrictions in project, and expiration update attempt.
- Click Save.
Edit Your Membership in Project from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Projects in the left panel.
- Select the project(s) you want to edit or renew.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Edit/Renew.
- In the pop-up, edit or renew your membership expiration date, role and restrictions in project.
- Click Save.
Bulk Email Project Members from Profile

- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.

- Select the project(s) for which you want to bulk email users.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.

- Once done, click Close.
Remove Yourself from a Project from Profile

- Select the project(s) you want to remove yourself from.
- Click the Delete button in the top panel.

Access Your Groups from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Groups in the left panel.
Add Yourself to a Group from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Groups in the left panel.
- Click the Add to one of your groups button in the top panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the group name you want to add yourself to.
- Select your group permissions.
- Click Add to Group.
Remove Yourself from a Group from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Associations.
- Click Groups in the left panel.
- Select the group(s) you want to remove yourself from.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Click Remove member from group.
- In the prompt, click Yes.
Access Your VM Configurations from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click VM Configurations in the left panel.
To connect to project-tagged VMs, you must be a member of the tagging project.
Start Your VM Configurations from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click VM Configurations in the left panel.
- Select the VM configuration you want to start.
- Click the Start button in the top right panel.
Share Your VM Configurations from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click VM Configurations in the left panel.
- Select the VM configuration you want to share.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Click Share.
- In the pop-up, enter the user names to share the VM configuration with.
- Click Update.
Bulk Email Your VM Configurations Users from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click VM Configurations in the left panel.
- Select the VM configuration(s) for which you want to bulk email users.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Bulk Email.
- In the pop-up, click Copy to copy the emails or click Download to download the emails.
- Once done, click Close.
Edit Your VM Configurations from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click VM Configurations in the left panel.
- Select the VM configuration you want to edit.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Edit.
- In the pop-up, edit the VM basic information, hardware setup, home and extra drive, and actions.
- Click Save.
Delete Your VM Configurations from Profile
bulk-action
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click VM Configurations in the left panel.
- Select the VM configuration(s) you want to delete.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Click Delete.
- In the prompt, click Delete.
Access Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
You can view the running VM configurations you own or have read-write rights.
Open Remote Desktop Application in Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the Running VM for which you want to open an RDP connection.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Open Remote Application.
- In the new window, use the remote application.
RDP connections run via a proxy connection to local ports.
Transfer Files between Your Vault and Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM to transfer the files between the Vault.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Transfer files to/from Vault.
- In the new prompt, drag-and-drop files from the VM drives and access directories (right panel) to the Vault (left panel) and vice-versa.
Open SFTP Pathway in Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM to open the SFTP pathway.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Open SFTP pathway.
- In the new prompt, enter the SFTP client details and connect.
SFTP Transfers run via proxy connection to local ports for larger data transfers.
Open Terminal Hub in Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM to open the terminal.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Open Terminal Hub.
- In the new window, use the running VM terminals.
Restart Controller in Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM whose controller you want to restart.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Restart Controller.
Repair Corrupted Database in Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM whose corrupted database you want to repair.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Repair Corrupted Database.
- In the pop-up, enter the word Repair.
- Click Repair.
View Logs of Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM whose logs you want to view.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select View logs.
- In the pop-up, view the logs.
- Once done, click Close.
Export Your Running VMs in JSON from Profile
bulk-action
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM(s) whose data you want to export in JSON format.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select JSON Export.
- In the pop-up, click Copy to copy the JSON data or click Download to download the JSON data.
- Click Close.
Open VNC Terminal in Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM whose VNC terminal you want to open.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Open VNC terminal.
- In the pop-up, use the VNC terminal.
- Once done, click Close.
The running VM must have VNC enabled to run VNC terminals.
Share Your Running VMs from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM you want to share.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Share.
- In the pop-up, enter the user names to share and select the user access sync atempt.
- Click Save.
Bulk Email Your Running VMs Users from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM(s) whoose users you want to bulk email.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.

- In the pop-up, click Copy to copy the emails or click Download to download the emails.
- Once done, click Close.
Restart Your Running VMs from Profile

- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM(s) that you want to restart.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Power.
- In the pop-up, click Restart.
Shut Down Your Running VMs from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM(s) that you want to shut down.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Power.
- In the pop-up, click Normal Shutdown.
Forcefully Shut Down Your Running VMs from Profile
bulk-action
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Running VMs in the left panel.
- Select the running VM(s) that you want to forcefully shut down.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Power.
- In the pop-up, read the risks, and tick the box I accept the risk.
- Click Hard shutdown.
Access Your Drives from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
You can view both read-write and read-only drives available to you.
Share Your Drives from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
- Select the drive you want to share.
- Click the Share button in the top panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the user names to share the drive with.
- Click Share.
You cannot share a drive if it was not formatted first and attached to a virtual machine.
Edit Your Drives from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
- Select the drive you want to edit.
- Click the Edit drive button in the top panel.
- In the pop-up, edit the drive name and team.
- Click Update.
Change Project Tag in Your Drives from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
- Select the drive where you want to change the project.
- Click the Change project button in the top panel.
- In the pop-up, select the project to tag the drive.
- Click Classify.
Forcefully Change Project Tag in Your Drives from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
- Select the drive where you want to forcefully change the project.
- Click the Change project button in the top panel.
- In the pop-up, tick Use my permission to override rules, re-tag resources with any visible project, regardless of current project relations.
- Select the project to tag the drive.
- Click Force change with admin privilege.
Migrate Your Drives from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
- Select the drive you want to migrate.
- Click the Migrate drive button in the top panel.
- In the pop-up, select the drive destination pool.
- Click Migrate.
Bulk Email Your Drive Users from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
- Select the drive(s) for which you want to bulk email users.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Bulk Email.
- In the pop-up, click Copy to copy the emails or click Download to download the emails.
- Once done, click Close.
Transfer Your Drive Ownership from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
- Select the drive(s) to transfer ownership of.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Transfer ownership.
- In the pop-up, enter the new drive owner name.
- Once done, click Transfer.
You must share the drive in read-write mode with at least one user to transfer ownership.
Unshare Your Drive from Everyone Else from Profile
bulk-action
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
- Select the drive(s) you want to unshare from everyone else.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Unshare from everyone else.
Delete Your Drive from Profile
bulk-action
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Virtual machines.
- Click Drives in the left panel.
- Select the drive(s) you want to delete.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Delete.
- In the pop-up, click Delete.
View Your Sub-admin's Assigned Objects from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Miscellaneous.
- Click Sub-admin Managed Objects in the left panel.
- View all projects and teams you assigned to sub-admins.
This section is visible only to users with an admin or super-admin role who have assigned a team or project to a sub-admin.
Grant Management Rights to Sub-admins from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Miscellaneous.
- Click Sub-admin Managed Objects in the left panel.
- Click the Grant management rights button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, select the sub-admin manager, the object type and the object name.
- Click Accept.
Assign Objects to Sub-admins from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Miscellaneous.
- Click Sub-admin Managed Objects in the left panel.
- Select the object(s) to assign to sub-admin.
- Click Assign to Sub-admin button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the sub-admin name you want to assign the obeject to.
- Click Accept.
Select multiple objects to assign them in bulk.
Bulk Email Sub-admins of Objects from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Miscellaneous.
- Click Sub-admin Managed Objects in the left panel.
- Select the managed object(s) you want to bulk email sub-admins.
- Click the Bulk Email button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, click Copy to copy the emails or click Download to download the emails.
- Once done, click Close.
Revoke Management Rights of Sub-admins from Profile

- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Miscellaneous.
- Click Sub-admin Managed Objects in the left panel.
- Select the object(s) for which you want to revoke management rights.
- Click the Revoke management rights button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, click Yes.
Access Your Manual Permission Management from Profile
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Miscellaneous.
- Click Manual permission management in the left panel.
Change Your User Role
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Miscellaneous.
- Click Manual permission management in the left panel.
- Click the Change role button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, select User, Sub-administrator, Administrator, or Super-administrator.
- Once done, click Demote or Promote based on the user selection.
Change Your User Permissions
- Go to the Open User Menu icon in the top left corner.
- Select the My Profile option.
- In the new window, navigate to Miscellaneous.
- Click Manual permission management in the left panel.
- Tick or untick the appropriate permissions for you in the system.
- Once done, click the Save button above.
Role changes require the necessary permissions and can only be made by users with a sub-admin or admin role.
Improperly changing permissions may result in losing account access. Only Sub-admin or Admin roles can modify permissions.
