Sub-admin Managed Objects

Prerequisites
  • Access Level: Sub-admin, Admin.
  • Permission Requirements:
  • . Basic Team Interaction
    • View own teams
    • Edit own teams (depending on stature per-team)
  • . Team Administration
    • View all teams in the system
    • Add users to any team arbitrarily
    • Modify any team membership arbitrarily
    • Remove users from any team arbitrarily
  • . Project Management
    • Add users to projects they manage
    • Edit memberships in projects they manage
    • Remove users from projects they manage
  • . Miscellaneous
    • Transfer ownership of own files and drives

Manager = Assigned Sub-admin to an object.

View an Assigned Object to Sub-Admin

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Users section.
  3. Click the Sub-admin Managed Objects in the top left panel.
  4. View all teams or projects assigned to sub-admins.

Assign Team(s) to a Sub-Admin

Method one:

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Users section.
  3. Click the Sub-admin Managed Objects in the top left panel.
  4. Click Create managed object in the top right panel.
  5. In the pop-up, enter the manager username.
  6. Set the object type to team.
  7. Enter the team name.
  8. Click Accept.

Method two:

bulk-action

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Users section.
  3. Click the Sub-admin Managed Objects in the top left panel.
  4. Select an existing assigned team(s) to assign to a sub-admin.
  5. Click Assign to Sub-admin button in the top right panel.
  6. In the pop-up, enter the manager username.
  7. Click Accept.
tip

Use the filter Type by Team for quick access to team assigned-objects.

Assign Project(s) to a Sub-Admin

Method one:

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Users section.
  3. Click the Sub-admin Managed Objects in the top left panel.
  4. Click Create managed object in the top right panel.
  5. In the pop-up, enter the manager username.
  6. Set the object type to project.
  7. Enter the project name.
  8. Click Accept.

Method two:

bulk-action

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Users section.
  3. Click the Sub-admin Managed Objects in the top left panel.
  4. Select an existing assigned project(s) to assign to a sub-admin.
  5. Click Assign to Sub-admin button in the top right panel.
  6. In the pop-up, enter the manager username.
  7. Click Accept.
tip

Use the filter Type by Project for quick access to project assigned-objects.

Method three:

bulk-action

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Projects section.
  3. Click the Projects in the top left panel.
  4. Select the project(s) you want to assign to sub-admin.
  5. Click the Assign to Sub-admin(s) button in the top right panel.
  6. In the pop-up, enter the sub-admin username(s).
  7. Click Assign.

Assign Temporary Project(s) to Sub-Admin

bulk-action

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Projects section.
  3. Click the Projects in the top left panel.
  4. Select the project(s) you want to temporarily assign to sub-admin.
  5. Click the Manage member(s) button in the top right panel.
  6. In the pop-up, enter the sub-admin username in the Select item section.
  7. Enter the expiration date in project, role in project to Manager and the appropriate restrictions.
  8. Under Existing memberships section, tick Update.
  9. Click Save.
note

Once the expiration date is reached, the sub-admin’s access to the project will be automatically removed.

Bulk Email Sub-Admins Associated with an Object

bulk-action

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Users section.
  3. Click the Sub-admin Managed Objects in the top left panel.
  4. Select all sub-admins from the list you want to send a bulk email.
  5. Click the Bulk Email button in the top right panel.
  6. In the pop-up, click Copy to copy the emails or click Download to download the emails.
  7. Once done, click Close.
note

Tick the Prefer contact email? to use the email registered upon user account creation.

Revoke Management Rights for Sub-Admin(s)

bulk-action

  1. Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
  2. Navigate to the Users section.
  3. Click the Sub-admin Managed Objects in the top left panel.
  4. Select the sub-admin(s) from the list for whom you want to revoke management rights.
  5. Click the Revoke Management Rights button.
  6. In the pop-up, click Yes.
