View a Resource by Project
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource you want to view.
- Click the View button in the top right panel.
- In the left panel, view the project name, tag, description, parent project, security level, personal investigator, creation date, project managers, members, and drives.
Open Overlay of a Resource by Project
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource for which you want to open the overlay.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, view the project Members, Member Certifications, Subprojects and Security Requirements.
- Click Close to exit.
Add Member(s) to a Project from Resources by Project
bulk-action
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to which you want to add members.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, navigate to Members section.
- Click Add users to the project in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, under Select item enter the user name(s) to add to the project.
- Scroll down and enter their optional expiration date in the project, role, restrictions, and expiration update attempt.
- Once done, click Save.
note
Use the Undo button if an unintended user was added to the project.
Create a Subproject from Resources by Project
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to create a subproject.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, navigate to Subprojects section.
- Click Create new subproject in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the subproject name, tag text & color, optional security level, description and due date.
- Click Create.
Edit Security Level in Project from Resources by Project
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to edit the security level.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, navigate to Security levels section.
- Click Edit security level in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, edit the name, requirements and description.
- Once done, click Update.
tip
You can remove and add new security requirements while keeping the security level intact.
Edit Security Requirements in Project from Resources by Project
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to edit security requirements.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, navigate to Security levels section.
- Select the security requirement to edit.
- Click Edit in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, edit the name, description, certification expiration and lifespan.
- Once done, click Update.
Certify User(s) in Project from Resources by Project

Method one:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to certify user(s).
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, navigate to Security levels section.
- Select the security requirement to certify user(s).
- Click Certify user(s) in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the user name(s) to certify, expiration date and attempt to update certification.
- Click Save.
Method two:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to certify users.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, navigate to Member Certifications section.
- Click Certify user(s) for a security requirement in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the requirement, user name(s) to certify, expiration date and attempt to update certification.
- Click Certify.
note
Tick the Never expires box to make project members' certificates active indefinitely.
Delete a Security Requirement(s) from Project via Resources by Project
bulk-action
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to delete security requirement(s).
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, navigate to Security levels section.
- Select the security requirement(s) to delete.
- Click Delete in the top right panel.
- In the prompt, click Delete.
caution
You can only delete a security requirement if no security level or member is using it.
Assign a Project Resource(s) to Sub-Admin(s)
bulk-action
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource(s) to assign to sub-admin(s).
- Click the Assign to subadmin(s) button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the sub-admin name(s) to assign the project resource(s).
- Click Assign.
Assign a Subproject Resource(s) to Sub-Admin(s)

- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the subproject resource(s) to assign to sub-admin(s).
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, navigate to Subprojects section.
- Select the subproject resource to assign to a sub-admin(s).
- Click the Assign to subadmin(s) button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the sub-admin name(s) to assign the subproject resource(s).
- Click Assign.
Edit a Project Resource
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to edit.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- In the window, click the Edit project button in the top left panel.
- In the pop-up, edit the project name, tag text & color, optional security level, principal investigator and description.
- Click Update.
Make a Project Announcement from Resources by Project
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project to make an announcement.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Make an announcement.
- In the pop-up, enter your message for the project members.
- Click Send.
Delete a Project Resource
Method one:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to delete.
- Click the Open Full Menu button in the top right panel.
- Select Delete.
- In the prompt, click Delete project.
Method two:
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Projects section.
- Click the Resources by Project in the left panel.
- Select the project resource to delete.
- Click the Open Overlay button in the top right panel.
- Click Delete in the top left panel.
- In the prompt, click Delete project.
caution
You can only delete a project resource if no member is using it and no subprojects are attached.
