Drive Sharing
Information
This allows you view drives shared with you including creator, creation date, drive format, capacity, and the team associated with the drive.
Access
Viewing drives
Share Drive
To share a drive select the drive you would like to share then click share as seen below.
Unshare Drive with Everyone
To unshare a drive with everyone select the drive you would like to unshare then click Unshare Drive as seen below.
Unshare Drive with User(s)
To unshare a drive with specific user(s) select the drive you would like to unshare then click share.
From the user-list select the user you would like to unshare the drive with then click delete.
Transfer the Ownership of a Drive
To transfer ownership of a drive to another user select the appropriate drive then click transfer ownership in the top right panel.
Before you transfer drive ownership to a user you must share the drive with that user.
Change project in a Drive
To change project in a drive to select the appropriate drive then click change project in the top right panel.
Select the project you want to tag the drive with then click .
To remove project from a drive select the appropriate drive then click change project in the top right panel.
Select Unlocked option then click .
Before you transfer drive ownership to a user you must share the drive with that user.
Detach a drive
To detach a drive go to the tab. In the section,
select the virtual machine you want to detach the drive from, then click on the Drive Management card in the right panel.
Select the drive you want to detach then click Detach
Click .
Admins will see a warning message when trying to detach a drive. This should be done after the VM has been disconnected.
It is not recommended to detach drives from a running virtual machine.
You must have your drive unmounted in order to detach it.
