Change Project

Tag Files with a Project

  1. Go to the Vault icon in the top left panel.
  2. Click the My files section on the left panel.
  3. Select the file for which you want to tag the project.
  4. Click the Open Full Menu button in the top center panel.
  5. Select Change Project.
  6. In the prompt, enter or select the project name to tag the file with.
  7. Click Classify.
  8. In the pop-up, click Accept.

    Only admins and super-admins can override file permissions to change projects.

Untag Files from a Project

  1. Go to the Vault icon in the top left panel.
  2. Click the My files section on the left panel.
  3. Select the file for which you want to untag the project.
  4. Click the Open Full Menu button in the top center panel.
  5. Select Change Project.
  6. In the prompt, select No project (unlocked).
  7. Click Declassify.
  8. In the pop-up, click Accept.

Forcefully Override Rules to Retag Files with a Project

  1. Go to the Vault icon in the top left panel.
  2. Click the My files section on the left panel.
  3. Select the file for which you want to forcefully change the project.
  4. Click the Open Full Menu button in the top center panel.
  5. Select Change Project.
  6. In the prompt, enter or select the project name to tag the file.
  7. Tick Use my permission to override rules, re-tag resources with any visible project, regardless of current project relations to override rules as a super-admin for files that are not part of the project.
  8. Click Force change with admin privilege.
  9. In the pop-up, click Accept.

Recursively Tag All Files in a Directory with a Project

  1. Go to the Vault icon in the top left panel.
  2. Click the My files section on the left panel.
  3. Select the directory for which you want to change the project.
  4. Click the Open Full Menu button in the top center panel.
  5. Select Change Project.
  6. In the prompt, enter or select the project name to tag the file.
  7. Tick Recursively apply the permission change to change the project of all files within the selected directory.
  8. Click Classify.
  9. In the pop-up, click Accept.

Tag Files or Directories with a Subproject

  1. Go to the Vault icon in the top left panel.
  2. Click the My files section on the left panel.
  3. Select the directory for which you want to change the subproject.
  4. Click the Open Full Menu button in the top center panel.
  5. Select Change Project.
  6. In the prompt, enter or select the subproject name to tag the file or directory with.
  7. Click Classify.
  8. In the pop-up, click Accept.
