Hardware Profiles
Access Hardware Profiles
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the Hardware Profiles in the left panel.
View Basic Information of a Hardware Profile
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the Hardware Profiles in the left panel.
- Select the hardware profile you want to view.
- Click the View button in the top right panel.
- View the hardware profile's name, realm, description, source, cost function ID, cores, memory, and devices in the left panel.
Create a New Hardware Profile
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the Hardware Profiles in the left panel.
- Click the Create new hardware profile button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, enter the realm, hardware profile name, description, cores, maximum memory, device name, ID, quantity, vendor, and type.
- Click Create hardware profile.
Edit a Hardware Profile
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the Hardware Profiles in the left panel.
- Select the hardware profile you want to edit.
- Click the Edit button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, edit the hardware profile name, description, cores, maximum memory, device name, ID, quantity, vendor, and type.
- Click Update.

Editing hardware profiles is only supported in Nutanix realms.
Delete a Hardware Profile
- Go to the Management icon in the top left taskbar.
- Navigate to the Virtual Machines section.
- Click the Hardware Profiles in the left panel.
- Select the hardware profile you want to delete.
- Click the Delete button in the top right panel.
- In the pop-up, click Delete.

Deleting hardware profiles is only supported in Nutanix realms.
